The drive through the construction in Clifton on U.S. Highway 6 will be a bit smoother going forward as traffic has been moved to a recently completed concrete pavement on the south side of the roadway.
Colorado Department of Transportation Grand Junction Resident Engineer Kaity Clark said traffic was moved to the south side of the road on Thursday and preparations are beginning to construct the new concrete roadway on the northern side of the road between First and Fifth streets.
