The August Series got off to a great start for the crew of Nimble last Saturday as they won all three races at the Falmouth Yacht Club. Skipper John Callahan, along with brother Mick Callahan and crew Elyse DeGroot and Jo Sykes, made the most of the light air conditions as they led the way around the race course for most of the day. Skipper Rocky Geyer and the crew of Maelstrom placed second in the first two races before taking a post-race DSQ in the third.

Light and variable winds to start the day on Saturday led to an hour-long postponement as the FYC Sonars floated around the race committee boat waiting for the breeze to fill in.
