Ihave a slightly different viewpoint on the editorial in last week’s Enterprise about the removal of DEI, equity and justice terms from government policies.

When I see the multicolored rainbow flag it reminds me that we all must be treated with dignity, without discrimination according to the 1964 Civil Rights Act, and equally under the law.

Some groups in our country actually have accomplished those goals. However, others proclaim that to be anti-racist we must be racist, colorblindness is racist, people are either oppressors or oppressed (victims), or we must strive for equity, when that is impossible without totalitarian control because we are all unique.
