On Aug. 7, Eric Whitlock of Pittsford had pretty much the perfect summer day for a Buffalo Bills fan.
He attended Bills training camp at St. John Fisher University on a day with glorious weather (if you weren't bothered by the wildfire smoke ). He scored autographs from Dion Dawkins, Ray Davis and Joseph "Buffalo Joe" Andreessen; his mom even got a hug from Dawkins.
They headed to lunch at the Pittsford Pub, and finished the day with the latest feather in a Bills fan's cap: ordering a Tre'dae Sundae at Pittsford Farms Dairy. He wasn't alone in this idea; the popular ice cream shop was hopping after the close of the final day of training camp.
