Richard Osman has opened up about a life-long eye condition that has affected his ability to read an autocue, and drive. The House of Games host was born with nystagmus, which the NHS describes as an involuntary and usually constant movement of the eyes.
This condition often results in visual impairment and is characterised by what many describe as wobbling or dancing eyes, according to the health website.
Richard, 54, says that the condition means he has "is essentially an inability to focus" and must constantly move his eyes from side to side.
He shared: "I see the world as if I was driving in dense fog, although I can't drive. I can see that there are things there, but everything is blurred. Nothing has sharp definition.
