A gran was trapped in a lift in an “extremely frightening” encounter with a crack cocaine addict covered in blood holding her against the wall by her neck. ‌

Lee Clough , 38, of no fixed address, has left his victim unable to return to the area, where her family live, after the traumatic event at around 3pm on March 28. The victim was visiting her friend at Church Walk House, Walker, Newcastle. ‌

Jordan Parkinson, prosecuting, told Newcastle Crown Court Clough attacked her after he himself had been cut up in a machete attack, yelling at the victim to “give me everything you’ve got.” Parkinson said the victim believes “he was referring to the drugs she had." ‌
