Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson suffered an injury to the pinky finger on his throwing hand and was immediately ruled out of the rest of the preseason opener on Thursday night.
"It's the pinky on his throwing injury, just a dislocation, he popped it and it popped back in," Colts coach Shane Steichen said on the Fox 59 broadcast.
Steichen did not have a timetable for Richardson's return.
