Health experts are sharing details of symptoms of a rare cancer many people may think are nothing to be concerned about.

They say these issues could be an indicator someone has head or neck cancer.

Medics are now raising awareness of the symptoms, to encourage more people to get checked out if they have persistent issues that don't go away.

Symptoms can include things people may think are normal or nothing to worry about, like a persistent sore throat, mouth ulcers that don't go away or a blocked nose on one side only.

These are some issues associated with colds, so people may not know if they have something more serious.

If symptoms last for over two or three weeks then it's time to see a doctor.
