PEQUOT LAKES — Jenna Anderson is moving over one spot on the bench this fall.

The 2003 Pequot Lakes graduate is the new Patriots volleyball head coach replacing Chris Ganley, who she was an assistant coach for eight seasons.

Anderson has coached volleyball in Pequot at various levels for 17 seasons, including being an assistant coach on the 2023 state championship team.

“I think the game of volleyball has grown so much and there’s so much opportunity to look at the game differently today than even five years ago,” Anderson said. “So I think embracing the idea of not being within a box and looking for different alternatives and solutions to get creative has me very excited.”

Last season, the Patriots finished 18-11 and lost in the Section 6-2A Quarterfinals.
