FANS have slammed the Philadelphia Eagles for the shocking prices of food and drink at the Lincoln Financial Field.

Last season's Super Bowl winners begin the new NFL season against the Dallas Cowboys on September 4.

But fans returning to their stadium are in for a shock after controversial price hikes.

A photo posted on social media shows the food and drink menu inside the arena's concession stands.

And a can of Miller Lite beer will set you back a staggering $18.50.

That means an employee on minimum wage ($7.75) will have to work for two-and-a-half hours to afford a small can.

A large soda is priced at $12.50, a regular soda is $9.50 and even bottled water is $7.75.

But the inflated costs do not stop there as they extend to food.
