Every Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. during the growing season, members of TriCounty Active Adult Center and the Pottstown community have the opportunity to purchase fresh produce from The Best Route, which offers a mobile farmers’ market based in Gilbertsville, Montgomery County, founded in 2023 to help make local food systems stronger, more accessible and equitable.

Founded by Max Kulp and Roberta Cosentino, The Best Route, LLC, offers 30 years of combined non-profit experience, a background in research and evaluation, and over a decade of developing and operating food access programs from the ground up.

Max Kulp, principal and co-founder, operated and managed mobile food pantries and mobile markets for six years in two leading hunger relief organizations in Pennsylvania.
