The Six Nations Chiefs are in control of their best-of-seven Major Series Lacrosse semifinal series against the Owen Sound North Stars.

Hosting Owen Sound for Game 3 on Thursday, Six Nations scored a 14-7 win to take a commanding 3-0 lead in the series.

The Chiefs can wrap things up with a win on the road on Saturday when they play at the Meaford-St. Vincent Community Centre at 3 p.m. If necessary, Game 5 is Sunday at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena at 7 p.m.

In Game 3, Six Nations held a slim 5-4 lead through one period before taking flight in the second by outscoring Owen Sound 5-2.
