The Medicine Hat Public School Division released details on this summer’s My First Ride Program, which prepares first-time school bus riders for the upcoming year.
This is a free event and open to kindergarten students and all other first-time bus riders, giving them a chance to experience riding a school bus before the first day of school.
There is no charge for the event and parents are asked to accompany their children.
Attendees will experience entering and exiting the bus, safely riding in one and also participate in an emergency evacuation.
