WILLIS, Texas (CW39) — Willis Independent School District is taking legal action against the city of Conroe in a over a water service problem at the new Calfee Middle School.

The city said Willis ISD didn't sign a special agreement needed to provide water because the school that sits outside city limits. However, the district said it followed all regulations.

Officials said water service has since been restored, and Calfee Middle School will open as scheduled next week.
