Following are bites of business happenings in the northern lakes area.

The Brainerd Lakes Chamber's WAVE Young Professionals Network announced the recipients of the 2025 Four Under 40 Awards: Colton Maher, Jesse Zahn, Max Walter and Scott Lykins .

Maher is co-owner of MN Traders Co. in Pequot Lakes and founder/broker of Woods to Water Real Estate in Nisswa.

Zahn is the CEO of Conductor Power-A Zahn Power Group in Baxter and is a Nisswa City Council member.

Walter is member services and government affairs manager for Consolidated Telecommunications Co. in Baxter.

Lykins is founder and artistic and executive director of the Lake Area Music Festival.

One will be named the Young Professional of the Year at the WAVE Gala on Sept. 18 at Catalyst by Nature Link in Nisswa.
