According to market statistics for July 2025 from the Alberta Real Estate Association (AREA), some spots in the province are seeing a big jump in yearly average prices.
Grande Prairie led the province with a 13 per cent year-over-year increase to rise to an average price of $421,958, Red Deer came in second place with a nine per cent year-over-year increase to hit $488,176, and Edmonton came in third with an eight per cent increase to land at $562,245.
