LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - The search will resume Friday morning for a 16-year-old boy who went missing after disappearing in the river behind the Elyria Police Department Thursday morning.

According to Elyria Police, the teenager was drinking with Jacob Rosado, 24.

Rosado walked into the police station around 7 a.m. Thursday to report Vincent Pabon may have drowned in the Black River by the East Falls Riverwalk.

Rosado reportedly told police that they were walking along a path that leads to the river area near the falls after spending the night in the area, hanging out, and drinking.

Police and firefighters spent several hours searching for Pabon Thursday.
