On August 12, fast food workers, immigrants, and community allies will hold a full day of protest across Los Angeles, starting with a rally at MacArthur Park at 8 a.m. and ending with a vigil outside a detention center at 6:45 p.m., according to Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights Executive Director Angelica Salas.
