DRUNKEN DRIVING

2000 BLOCK SOUTH DOUGLAS HIGHWAY : A 66-year-old woman was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol Wednesday afternoon. Police responded to a report of a possible drunken driver who went through the drive-thru and hit a rain gutter on the building, Police Deputy Chief Brent Wasson said. When officers arrived, they met with the 66-year-old, who smelled of alcohol and appeared to be drunk. In her vehicle there were multiple empty containers of alcohol, as well as one full bottle. She refused sobriety tests but was arrested for DUI.
