A staggering number of drivers are disregarding crucial advice, putting themselves and others at risk of accidents. Despite the Highway Code's recommendation to take a 15-minute break every two hours, a whopping 50 per cent of motorists admit to driving for three hours or more without stopping. ‌

A survey of 2,000 drivers revealed that 55 per cent were oblivious to this vital guidance , with nearly half confessing to pushing on to reach their destination faster. However, this has led to 13 per cent having a near-miss due to fatigue, while 6 per cent have been involved
