Barry Moore supports President Trump’s plan to federalize D.C. if crime continues: ‘It is time we make the nation’s capital secure’

U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) is backing up President Donald Trump’s effort to make Washington D.C. great again.

After a Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) staffer was brutally beaten in the city earlier this week, Trump told D.C. authorities that they better get their act together or he will “federalize” the city.

“We’re going to beautify the city. We’re going to make it beautiful. And what a shame, the rate of crime, the rate of muggings, killings and everything else. We’re not going to let it, and that includes bringing in the National Guard maybe very quickly too,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office Wednesday.

Moore discussed the issue Wednesday on WVNN’s “The Yaffee Program.”

“Absolutely, the Democrats in that city are not doing a good job of enforcing law,” Mo
