BRAINERD — The young and young at heart were invited to move with the music during the song "Hoedown" by Aaron Copland on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025, during the Lakes Area Music Festival Block Party at the Lyman P. White Amphitheater in Brainerd.

Many of the children were part of the Explore Music program with the festival, which is a weeklong day camp where participants dance, sing and play instruments. The children were accompanied by a string orchestra from the music festival that played pop music and classical favorites. The event was free and open to the public.
