Hundreds of members of Georgia's workforce will need to find new jobs.

In the span of two days, more than 200 employees across three different companies are being let go, according to WARN Notices received by the USA Today Network .

Community Development Institute Head Start

A letter attached to the July 30 WARN Notice said Community Development Institute Head Start has been the short-term interim operator of the Savannah River Head Start program. This allowed for services to Head Start children and families at a time when the local recipient could no longer operate the program. During this interim period, a process was put in place by the Office of Head Start to identify a replacement recipient which has now been found.

This will lead to 77 layoffs effective Sept. 30 or within 1
