The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued a yellow heat alert across parts of the UK from Monday, August 11, as another heatwave looms.
The remnants of Tropical Storm Dexter have replaced the brutally windy and cold weather of Storm Floris, reminding Brits that is in in fact still summer.
The UKHSA alert is in place from 12pm on Monday, August 11 until 6pm on Wednesday, August 13.
It covers Yorkshire and the Humber, East Midlands, East of England, London, the South East and South West.
The Met Office said: “From Sunday, temperatures will begin to rise across southern parts of the UK, as the remnants of Tropical Storm Dexter draw warm air up from the southwest across the UK.
“Temperatures are expected to exceed 30°C in places across parts of central, southern and eastern England
