A cyclist has died after a crash in south Cambridgeshire. Emergency services were called at around 9.15pm yesterday (Thursday, August 7) to a crash between a cyclist and white Skoda Karoq on Childerley Drive, on the Childerley Estate in South Cambridgeshire .

The cyclist, a man in his 80s, died at the scene. The driver, a man in his 30s from Newmarket , was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

The man has since been released on bail with the condition to return to Parkside Police Station on November 7.

A police spokesperson said: “Police are appealing for anyone who saw the vehicle or cyclist in the time leading up to the incident.”
