LISBON A Columbiana man has been indicted on seven felony charges, including attempted murder and kidnapping, in connection with an alleged assault and arson on June 2.

The Columbiana County Grand Jury indicted Fredrick Harroff, 66, for allegedly strangling a family member and hitting her with a baseball bat. The victim was taken to a hospital for injuries that included bleeding from multiple wounds on her head and left elbow.

Harroff faces a total of seven felony charges: one count of attempted murder, two counts of aggravated arson, two counts of felonious assault, one count of kidnapping, and one count of strangulation.
