The Alabama Grocers Association on Thursday announced its official endorsement of Corey Hill for Alabama agriculture commissioner in the upcoming 2026 election.

The Association shared that Corey Hill, a 4th-generation farmer, successful grocery store operator, and the current mayor of Douglas in Marshall County, embodies the values and vision needed to lead Alabama’s agricultural future. “His deep, hands-on experience in both farming and food retail uniquely positions him to champion policies that strengthen food security, support small producers, and enhance rural economic development,” the AGA said.
