EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — An Evansville man was jailed following a violent incident where he allegedly forced his way into a home and attacked a resident with a baseball bat.
Authorities told 44News that Evansville police responded to a call Thursday morning around 7:30 at a home on East Missouri Street.
The victim informed officers that Tony Howell Jr. forced his way inside the home to collect belongings.
An altercation reportedly ensued, during which Howell Jr. struck the victim with a baseball bat.
Howell Jr. is being held without bond.
