The Henderson Police Department is investigating an animal cruelty incident.

On Wednesday morning, officers were dispatched to the area of Highway 60 and Pebble Creek Drive.

A witness said they saw someone throw kittens out of a van.

HPD is looking for potential witnesses who would have been in the area of Highway 60 and Pebble Creek to Barret Blvd. between 9:25 and 9:35 a.m.

The van is a gray or silver Honda Odyssey in decent condition.

HPD is also seeking video from that area.

Officers say they recovered two deceased kittens from the scene.
