Aaron D. Cook, 22, of the 1700 block of Wychwood St., was charged with felonious assault for his role in a Thursday evening shooting that sent another man to the hospital.

Just after 6:45 p.m. police responded to the 1700 block of Wychwood on a report of a person shot. They found a 52-year-old man with at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to ProMedica Toledo Hospital where he was in critical condition Friday morning, police said.

Mr. Cook was booked in the Lucas County jail on a charge of felonious assault, a second-degree felony. He is scheduled to be arraigned Friday morning in Toledo Municipal Court.
