A 15-year-old boy has been found guilty of the murder of Harvey Willgoose, who was stabbed to death at a school in Sheffield.

The teen, who cannot be named because of his age, was also found guilty carrying a hunting knife onto school grounds.

The jury returned the majority verdict on Friday at Sheffield Crown Court following a five week trial.

Harvey Willgoose, also 15, was stabbed in a courtyard with a 13cm serrated edged blade at All Saints Catholic High School in Sheffield on 3 February.

CCTV footage of the stabbing showed the defendant stabbing Harvey twice, once in the chest and once to the abdomen.

The court heard Harvey lost consciousness within a minute and died.
