Markets at Round Lake festival set for this weekend

ROUND LAKE — After the passing of Amy Leach in October, the future of the annual August village festival in which Leach played an integral role was in doubt.

“At a meeting in January, a villager named Molly came in and said, ‘listen we’re in a tough situation. With the passing of Amy who had coordinated the activities in the past we don’t have anyone to chair the event,’” recalled Craig Maslowski. “She said: we may not be able to do it.”
