The Indianapolis Colts are hoping the upcoming regular season will be an improvement on last year, when they won just 8 of 17 games and missed the postseason. However, with the bad news of Anthony Richardson’s dislocated finger, the franchise had to make a tough decision.
Richardson injured the finger on his throwing hand during a preseason game. The Colts deemed it too risky for him to continue playing in the preseason, so they made the call to shut him down for the remainder of the games to ensure his injury heals properly.
“Colts QB Anthony Richardson (finger) has been declared out for the rest of Indy’s preseason game in Baltimore. Frustrating ending to the evening, I’m sure, for a guy who can’t seem to stay healthy,” Albert Breer reported.
