Harrisburg Treasurer Dan Miller still isn’t saying whether he will or won’t run as a Republican for mayor of Harrisburg this fall. But all the intrigue will cease on Monday, when Miller will detail his intentions in person.
Miller said by text to PennLive Friday that his official announcement regarding his possible run against one-term incumbent Mayor Wanda Williams will take place at 10 a.m. Monday in Vernon Park.
When a PennLive reporter responded that it “sounds like you’re going to run,” Miller replied, “I already ran along the river this morning.”
Joking aside, Miller has already accepted the GOP nomination for mayor, which he captured as a write-in in the May 20 primary. Miller received 112 write-in votes.
