WALKER, La. (WAFB) - An investigation into a rash of vehicle burglaries in Livingston Parish has led to the arrest of two boys.
According to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, a 12-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy are each facing 10 counts of vehicle burglary and one count of possession of a firearm by a juvenile.
The vehicle burglaries they are accused of occurred in the late night and early morning hours of Aug. 4-7 in the Meadow Crossing subdivision and near Ball Park Road.
Sheriff Jason Ard said detectives identified the two suspects during their investigation and executed search warrants at their homes.
“Both juveniles were found to be in possession of a firearm and other items belonging to several of the victims,” said Ard.
