(WENY) - At Finger Lakes Distilling in Burdett, New York, NASCAR and bourbon enthusiasts came together for a unique celebration that paid tribute to Legacy Motor Club's No. 42 Cup Series car, driven by John Hunter Nemechek. The event marked the release of a special bourbon that not only honored Nemechek but also highlighted the connection between the local community, Watkins Glen, and the world of NASCAR.

The bourbon itself was crafted with a nod to Nemechek's car number. It spent exactly 4.2 years aging in barrel #3142, a deliberate tribute to the No. 42 car.
