BETHLEHEM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A New York State Police trooper is being treated for what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries after a Friday morning crash on the Thruway in Bethlehem. The crash happened around 9 a.m. just after Exit 21A on the northbound side.
State Police said the trooper was performing a traffic stop at the same time as the crash, and was hit by a northbound vehicle. The cause of the crash is under investigation, and the right lane of the Thruway is blocked. Stay with NEWS10 as more information becomes available.
