As the United States Women’s National Soccer Team enters a new era, former star Sam Mewis joined Katie Nolan on her podcast to discuss her time with the team and what the future holds for the organization.

After reflecting on some of Mewis’ past accolades, like a 13-0 win over Thailand at the 2019 World Cup, Nolan asked the former midfielder what young stars she’s most excited about for the USWNT.

Mewis, who is from Hanson, and went to Whitman-Hanson High School, took the opportunity to highlight another stellar player from Hanson, Ally Sentnor.

“She’s from my hometown of Hanson, Massachusetts so literally every time I say her name on a podcast I say she’s from Hanson,” Mewis said.
