AUSTIN (KXAN) -- KXAN meteorologists, on occasion, speak about the warming climate. We give you daily tips on how to save our planet from the perils of climate change. Sometimes we offer tips on how to get children involved in projects like composting and recycling.

It is with that in mind that we wanted to know when is a good time for adults to speak with their children about what climate change is, why it is happening, and what they can do to help mitigate its effects.

Dr. Bradley Berg is a pediatrician with Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Round Rock. He says that children are more in tune with what is going on with the weather.
