Children's 'wonders of the world' revealed - and they're not what you'd expect
Sunflowers, seashells, and rocks have been named as 'wonders of the world' by children. A survey involving nearly 400 six-and-seven year olds has revealed the everyday marvels that fascinate young minds.
The top list featured caterpillars, puddles, and diggers. An impressive 81 per cent collect and cherish items like beach pebbles or sticks found during woodland walks.
Of the 600 parents surveyed, two-thirds recognised their child's fascination with these 'everyday wonders' has helped them rediscover the magic in their surroundings. Indeed, 55 per cent of parents are more likely to notice and marvel at these daily wonders due to their child's enthusiasm.
As part of Specsavers' ' Wonder ' campaign, museum-s
