CLEVELAND, Ohio — Injuries and an unforgiving schedule took their toll on St. Ignatius.

Senior quarterback Daniel Chalhoub missed most of his junior year because of injury, and St. Ignatius slumped to one win.

“It’s a tough thing, but that always builds character,” Chalhoub said Thursday after practice. “It helps you grow as a person and team. The past is the past. Hindsight is 20-20 vision. You move on as a team.”

He is back. So is Dane Donovan, a junior who stepped in as the quarterback after the Wildcats lost Chalhoub.

They also return running back Owen Colwell and receivers Luke Simms and Trey Haddad, who already holds a West Virginia offer ahead of his junior year.
