Thousands of students are heading back to class with brand-new supplies, fresh haircuts, and a healthy start to the school year — all thanks to the 19th annual Tarrant County Back to School Roundup.
The free event, held Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Tarrant County College’s South Campus, is designed to support families facing financial hardship by removing common back-to-school barriers.
Organizers say the need is greater than ever this year, as inflation continues to drive up the cost of basic school essentials.
