Another week, another set of dramas unfold at Salford Red Devils .

The past seven days have seen more issues develop, more negative news stories emerge and more players depart the beleaguered club.

On Monday, the exits of outside back Chris Hankinson to Leeds Rhinos and prop Chris Hill to Bradford Bulls were announced.

Then it was revealed that the club allegedly owes its players several months of unpaid pension money.

Numerous sources have confirmed to The i Paper that the players have only had two months of their pension money paid this year.

This, insiders say, is the straw that has broken the camel’s back for the depleted squad and seen many of them finally force their own exits , with the concern they won’t be paid for the remainder of their contracts.
