Popular mall store Claire's plans to close dozens of stores in Indiana, including local locations.

On Wednesday, Claire's filed asking for a Bankruptcy Court to allow the chain to sell off around 700 stores across the country.

In Lafayette, that includes the Icing store at the Tippecanoe Mall and the Claire's on 240 Mall Road in Logansport.
