The man charged with second-degree murder after a downtown-area stabbing in broad daylight lived in a nearby rooming house, according to court records.

Other men who live at 334 Queens Ave. – located at the northwest corner of Queens and Waterloo Street – say the man arrested after the deadly Sunday stabbing moved into their place a few weeks ago, though they didn’t know his name.

“He was very quiet, he kept to himself,” one resident said on Tuesday while sitting with others on the home’s front porch. “He was really quiet. All he did was come out and smoke cigarettes.”
