HUDSON, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- The Hudson City School District Superintendent Juliette Pennyman has resigned in a mutual agreement with the Board of Education, school officials said. According to the district Board of Education, her resignation was accepted, and an interim superintendent was appointed during a special meeting Thursday.

Pennyman served as the district superintendent since August 2023. According to the district, during her time, the district has seen an increase in graduation rates.

"It has been an honor to serve the students of this district and the greater Hudson City School District community. I am proud of the collaborative work we have done together, and I look forward to seeing this school district continue to succeed into the future," Dr. Pennyman said.
