BOISE, Idaho — On Thursday evening, a house fire broke out in a northern Boise neighborhood, resulting in a family being displaced.
According to the Boise Fire Department , around 5:30 p.m., Boise Fire, Ada County EMS, and Boise Police responded to reports of a structure fire. The single-family home located on the 3100 block of West Taft Street was ablaze when first responders arrived.
Crews found the home with heavy smoke and fire coming out of it, which meant the crews called for a full assignment and initiated a fire attack, said a news release.
Boise firefighters were able to utilize new training and pre-assignments to get the fire under control quickly.
The fire caused extensive damage to the home, displacing the family and their pets. No injuries were reported in this incide
