WASHINGTON, D.C. – Before leaving town for the traditional August congressional recess, U.S. Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) introduced legislation aimed at ensuring unbiased due process for American workers and businesses in labor practice complaints.

Introduced into the 119 th Congress on July 31, the Protecting American Jobs Act blocks the federal National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) from prosecuting and adjudicating cases, thus returning adjudicatory power to U.S. courts where it belongs, the senator says.

“Business disputes should be given a fair trial,” according to Lee, “not biased decisions from federal bureaucrats cos-playing as judges.”
