A stressed-out mum who has £350 left until the end of the month asked: "How do we survive?"
She said she needed to stretch out the cash to feed her family of four, plus a dog.
Fuel expenses also needed to come out of the remaining budget and she "didn't know how" she would manage.
Currently on maternity leave, the mum-of-two said they previously relied on savings each month, but they were now "almost gone"

Taking to Mumsnet to ask for advice, she revealed the weekly grocery shop usually came to around £200 with some "careful planning".
Her post read: "£350 till end of the month. Family of four plus dog. How do we survive?
"Needs to include formula for the baby. Other son is almost five-years-old.
