CHOWCHILLA, Calif. (KFSN) -- A barber well-known on TikTok for serving some high-profile clients has opened the first of its kind "licensed" barber school inside a California state prison in Chowchilla.

Victor Fontanez goes by "VicBlends" and has more than 25 million followers on social media.

Former President Barack Obama and seven-time Super Bowl champ Tom Brady have both sat in his barber chair.

This week, VicBlends Academy launched at Valley State Prison in Chowchilla.

The goal is to train inmates.

Once they've served their time, they can leave prison licensed by the state of California to cut hair.

The school will also offer more than 100 haircuts a week to incarcerated men.
